Exporting is how you take your finished book out into the world. Every format below is free to export, runs in the background while you carry on, and is saved to a history so you can re-download it any time.
Print PDF
A print-ready PDF of your whole book, built to the shape you chose. This is the file you hand to a print-on-demand service like KDP or Lulu to make a physical book. It is the format most people reach for when they want a real, printed copy.
EPUB ebook
A fixed-layout EPUB, which is the standard ebook format. Fixed-layout means your carefully designed pages stay laid out as you made them, art and text together, rather than reflowing. This is the format for reading your book on phones, tablets, and e-readers.
Cover-wrap PDF
A separate PDF for your printed cover, laid out as a single wrap: back cover, spine, and front cover together. Print-on-demand services usually want the cover as its own file, and this is it.
Per-page images
A set of PNG images, one per page. These are simple picture files you can share anywhere, post, send to family, or use however you like. If you just want the pictures, this is the friendliest format.
Working in the background
Exports are prepared for you in the background, so you do not have to sit and wait. When one is ready it appears in your export history, where you can download it, download it again later, or remove it. Nothing is a one-shot: your finished files stay available.
